Jesus of Nazareth walked the hills of Galilee two thousand years ago, a carpenter who became the greatest teacher of love the world has known. He healed the sick, fed the hungry, sat with the outcast, and spoke in parables that still unlock the soul.
The churches built a religion about him. But the hidden words found in the jar at Nag Hammadi show us a teacher who pointed every seeker back to the light within themselves.
In Their Words
“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
Matthew 22:37-39
“The kingdom of God is within you.”
Luke 17:21
What This Sage Teaches Us
Christ did not come to be worshiped from a distance. He came to show us the way. Everything he did, he said we would do also, and greater. The Christ is the divine pattern living in every one of us, waiting to be awakened.
Love the Great Spirit with everything you are, love your neighbor as yourself, and the whole law is fulfilled. It is that simple, and that powerful.
Reflect: Where in your life is the kingdom within waiting to be recognized today?
