About Dan Dillman: Third-Generation Treasure Hunter and Mystic
3RD GENERATION · MYSTIC · ANCIENT MYSTERIES THEORIST
THE QUEST FOR TRUTH
RUNS IN MY BLOOD.
IAM Dan Dillman, a third-generation treasure hunter, investigator of the unexplained, ancient mysteries theorist, mystic, author, and filmmaker. For over six decades, my family has chased the world's most enduring riddles: lost Aztec Treasure, hidden civilizations, UFO/UAP phenomena, the paranormal, and the unexplained. I'm carrying that torch into a new era, in life, on camera, on stage, and in the field.
THE LINEAGE
The Dillman family quest began in the early 1960s with my grandfather, Raymond Dillman, a legally blind man from Oakland, California, who refused to accept the limits the world had handed him. For more than twenty years he obsessed over the enigmatic Peralta Stone Tablets and oral history. In 1982, after decades of relentless research, he finally cracked the code.
My grandfather lead my uncles John and Paul into the Southern Utah mountains using precise latitude and longitude coordinates only he understood. What they found there, ancient Aztec ruins, other worldly artifacts, turquoise, gold, signs, symbols, and another stone tablet, establishing our family as pioneers in the search for truth and treasure in the American Southwest.
My grandfather passed in 1992. My uncle John passed in 2007. In 2020, my uncle Paul made me promise from his hospital bed that I would carry the quest forward, that I would never quit. With his passing, the torch came to me, and to my wife Gina and our children. I believe I may be the one to find Montezuma's Tomb, Treasure and the lost ancient records of Aztlán/Atlantis.
There is another line in my blood. My blind grandmother carried an ancient priestess and priesthood bloodline, she and I both were born with six fingers on each hand, a mark the ancient world recognized as a sign of the gift. The treasure hunter and the mystic both run through me. That is why the quest has never been only about treasure.
THE WORK
Today my work spans five worlds.
ON CAMERA: I'm a star of History Channel's Lost Gold of the Aztecs, and I've appeared on Ancient Aliens, Beyond Oak Island, The Proof Is Out There, and The UnXplained with William Shatner.
IN THE FIELD: I lead investigative expeditions into the unexplained, guided paranormal investigations and UFO/Ancient Mystery experiences in mystery-rich locations across the American Southwest.
ON STAGE: I produce and host Mysterious X, a destination conference that brings together the world's leading researchers, investigators, and storytellers on lost treasure, ancient mysteries, UFO activity, paranormal encounters, and high strangeness.
AS A FILMMAKER: I make short form and long form documentaries.
AS A MYSTIC: I write, teach, and share the spiritual teachings of the sages of the ages. From cosmic messages to ancient wisdom traditions, I bridge the seen and the unseen.
THE MISSION
The mission is simple: to honor my grandfather's vision, to fulfill the promise I made to my uncle, and to bring the most fascinating mysteries on Earth to the largest possible audience. To prove the lineage. To find the lost. And to keep the wonder alive.
