Rudolf Steiner was an Austrian philosopher, scientist and seer who lived from 1861 to 1925. He called his teaching Anthroposophy, the wisdom of the human being, and believed spiritual worlds could be explored as clearly as the physical one.
His insights gave birth to Waldorf schools, biodynamic farming, new forms of medicine and art. He spoke of Christ as a cosmic being and of the evolution of human consciousness.
In Their Words
“For every one step you take in seeking higher knowledge, take three steps in perfecting your own character.”
How to Know Higher Worlds (translation by Dan Dillman)
What This Sage Teaches Us
Steiner taught that every human being can develop the inner organs of spiritual sight through patience, reverence, meditation and moral growth. Spiritual knowledge without a good heart is dangerous. With a good heart, it becomes a gift to the world.
Reflect: What step in your own character would make you a clearer channel for wisdom?
